Back around 1986 a radio station in Boise had been sold and was changing formats. The staff of the old format wanted a glorious send-off, so they decided to play 3 Barry Manilow songs over and over….for three days. “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs,” and “Copacabana.” An awful lot of people thought it was funny, and many businesses tuned to that station for the entire three days. Those were dark days in the City of Trees, child…..
